Homemade Green Juice - Without a Juicer

  • Green:
  • 2-3 Stalks of kale
  • Handful of romaine lettuce
  • 1 celery stick
  • ¼ small cucumber
  • 1 pear
  • ¼ lemon wedge
  • ½ inch knob of ginger
  • 2 Cups of water (or coconut water)
  • Red:
  • 1 steamed beet
  • Juice of 1 orange or 1 grapefruit
  • 1 apple
  • 1 Carrot
  • ½ knob of ginger
  • Optional: greens, cucumber
  • 2 Cups of water (or coconut water)
  1. Add all juice ingredients to a high speed blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the thick juice through a nut milk bag (or cheese cloth) into a bowl. Squeeze out the bag so a thin juice remains in the bowl and you are left with just vegetable pulp in the bag.
  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
*Juice is best directly after juicing to obtain the most nutrients. If this is not possible put in a sealed container in the fridge and enjoy within 24 hrs.
