Welcome to the newest section of the blog “Where do you get your protein? And other vegan myths”. Here I hope to talk about aspects of a vegan lifestyle beyond food. There has been significantly more education around these issues and as a result a substantial rise in the number of vegans and vegetarians. However, I still get many questions (very valid questions) about the lifestyle. It will be a ‘vegan myth busters’! I hope to discuss some relevant issues and help get everyone more connected to their food.
Additionally there are many myths and rumours about living a vegan lifestyle, due to the industries in power. I hope to discuss each issue and it's relation to industry politics, environmental issues, health and animal cruelty.
Disclaimer: I am not a doctor or a scientist, but I love researching and chatting about these issues! Hopefully this is a more digestible way to consume the information, but I will also link all my sources if you want to have a deeper read.
